Larry (Glynn) Neal II (born May 9th, 1968) is a Senior Multi-Disciplined Engineer for Raytheon Missile Systems in Louisville, Kentucky. Early Years Larry Glynn Neal II was born in Owensboro, Kentucky, the son of Larry Sr., who worked as a maintenance supervisor, and Eilene, who works at a community college. His family has spent his entire life in Owensboro. At Apollo High School, Glynn's athletic career involved playing high school baseball, football, and track & field. Glynn obtained multiple letters in football and track & field. In his spare time, Glynn was the Head Coach of the Lions Youth Football team and umpired Little & Babe Ruth baseball games. After high school, Glynn received a football scholarship to play football for Kentucky Wesleyan College. Glynn played his freshman season as a tight end and decided to drop from school to pursue a career in the United States Air Force. Professional Career On November 23, 1987, Glynn headed to Lackland Air Force Base, San Antonio, Texas for 8 weeks of boot camp. After graduation from boot camp, Glynn was sent to Wichita Falls, Texas for technical training. Once finished with training, Glynn received his first duty assignment, Kadena AFB, Japan, assigned to the 17th Special Operations Squadron. During his three years in Japan, Glynn deployed on multiple missions in support of Operation Desert Storm. In 1991, Glynn was sent to McConnell AFB, Wichita Kansas. Over the next eight years, Glynn maintained operations on the B-1 Bomber Lancer. Glynn played multiple sports in the Air Force ultimately making the All-Military Softball team in 1993 and two years of semi-pro football in Japan. During his years in Wichita, Glynn worked in several nightclubs as a bouncer and trained to become a boxer, but never made it to the ring. In 1998, Glynn decided to depart from the Air Force and take a position with the Boeing Aircraft Company manufacturing Boeing 767 and 777 commercial airliners.
Glynn soon left Boeing for Raytheon Aircraft Integration Systems in Greenville, Texas working as a Manufacturing Engineer for the Navy P-3 Orion submarine finding recognizance aircraft. In 2000, after two years with AIS, Glynn left for Raytheon Space and Airborne Systems in Forest, Mississippi working on ground based radar system for the US Army. It is during this time that Glynn got his first American Bulldog. Over the next five years, Glynn raised "Standard" American Bulldogs. In 2005, Glynn moved once again, back to his home state of Kentucky working for Raytheon Missile Systems in Louisville, Kentucky on the US Navy 20mm Phalanx Gatlin Gun System. In '05, Glynn moved from the "Standard" American Bulldog to the "Bully or Classic" American Bulldog. It has literally took him 5 years to rebound from switching styles of the American Bulldog. In 2011, Glynn is hoping this will be his breakout year in producing top quality American Bulldogs. Personal Life Glynn is the first of three children. He has one younger brother, Darin, and a younger sister, Eve. Darin and Larry Sr. both are US Military Veterans. Glynn married Lisa Kay Florio Neal and they have four boys, Logan, Alex, Taylor, and Dalton. In his personal time, Glynn enjoys golfing, car racing, lifting weights, cycling and riding motorcycles.
